Next Markets: All from 10am to 1pm in Crediton's Town Square.
Saturday Markets in 2012, 10am-1pm on 12 May, 9 June, 14 July, 8 September, 13 October.
This year we plan to have markets every month or so during the summer. If you are interested send us your email address so that we can keep you informed of dates – see contact details below
Our markets are intended to be complementary to the Farmers' Markets, not to compete with them.
Community markets are for:
• sharing surplus garden produce
• small enterprises that don't produce enough for the Farmers' Markets
• locally produced crafts and non food produce
• local organisations wanting to raise funds or advertise themselves
We expect stall holders to come approximately from the area covered by Crediton Courier and our local produce website www.creditonlocalproduce.co.uk
EVERYBODY WELCOME!
Even if you only have a dozen eggs or some tomatoes and a few courgettes, bring along a basket of goods to sell or swap for other produce.
If you have more to sell please:
• Bring your own table.
• Bring a brolly for sun or rain.
• Make a donation to Sustainable Crediton to help cover the hire of the Square and publicity.
NB If you are bringing meat or dairy products please:
Adhere to the rules and regulations of the Food Hygiene (General) Regulations 1970 and the provisions of the Food Safety Act 1995 and any other legal requirements. Full details are available from the Environmental Health Department of Mid Devon District Council.
