CCA Newsletter Issue 28

Hi Everyone,

I do hope you have had a chance to participate in some of the excellent Crediton Festival events during June. The whole Festival was judged to be a huge success not least the Food Festival in the Square on 13th/14th June. The Food & Farming Group of CCA put together an excellent 'Grow Your Own' stand as part of the weekend.

The Festival has reminded me what an array of talent we have here in the Crediton area; actors in Shakespeare on the Square and singers and musicians in the Messiah at the Holy Cross church to name but a couple of highlights where CCA supporters were taking part! To me it shows that we can create our own entertainment and enjoy ourselves hugely here on our own home turf, which is so in keeping with the whole Transition Town philosophy. So well done and thank you Crediton.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and, if you are free, join us on the CCA outing to the Tarka trail on July 18th. More details below.

With best wishes.

Paula

Real nappies aren't just about washing, honest!

I've been trying out the Devon Real Nappy Project's One Month Trial Kit that Crediton WEN helped relaunch a couple of years ago. Knowing that I'll be changing nappies for another two years I thought I should see what else is around than just sticking with the tried and tested terries and Bambi ...
