November Sustainable Crediton Events Reminder

Hello Everyone,

We have four events coming up over the final weekend of the month.

Crediton Christmas Lights Parade

There will be a Victorian themed fancy dress flag parade on Friday 28th organised by the Arts Centre. We are taking part with Gerald Conyngham our flag holder. Why not join in the fun on the night by joining us at the start. Fancy dress is optional. The parade will assemble at St Lawrence Green at 6.45pm and set off at 7pm, proceeding along the High Street towards the Town Square for a ceremony to switch on the town's Christmas lights and tree. This will be followed by live music from the fabulous local band Electric Spank until 9pm. There will be stalls serving hot food and drinks in the square.

Waste Plastics Collection

We have our regular waste plastics collection at Peck & Strong's, Lords Meadow Industrial Estate from 10 am to 12:30pm on Saturday 29th.

Boniface Trail Cycle Ride and Walk

On Sunday 30th meet in the Town Square at 11am for the regular monthly cycle ride, probably not going to Lapford in view of the afternoon's walk.

In the afternoon there will be a walk with Councillor Steve Parker of Newton St Cyres Parish Council, along his proposed village footpath / cycle route. Meet at Crown and Sceptre at 2pm with footwear for 4 miles, and mud. Contact Laura for more details.
