Last chance to be involved in Crediton Community Pig Share for 2016!

The Crediton Pig Club is well under way for 2016, set up with the help of Sustainable Crediton Food Group. We are now ordering some super Oxford Sandy and black traditional breed piglets to be reared by local small holders this year. Freezer ready pork joints and other products will be collected in the early autumn by members who commit to a half pig share. The scheme is only open to members of the Crediton Pig Club (membership cost is £15 for this year). We have a member who would prefer to split their share with another family - making two quarter shares of about 10 kg of pork. If you would be interested in either a half share or quarter share then do get in touch straight away to join the Pig Club by contacting Anne at a.stobart@herbaid.co.uk by the 29th February at the latest.
