Sustainable Crediton Special General Meeting Notice and Newsletter

This email and newsletter are serving as the Notice to our Special Annual General Meeting (SAGM) to be held at the Boniface Centre at 7:30pm on the 21st May 2018. Details of the agenda can be found in the calendar of events and at this link.

I'd like to thank very much the twenty or so individuals who have contacted Dee Ross as a result of our "Sustainable Crediton is in Crisis" email last month. If you are one of those people reading this today, please do come to the SAGM and see how you can help support Sustainable Crediton for the future.

As part of the SAGM process we are seeking nominations for people to join the Core Group. If you would like to do so, please contact our new Chair, Dee Ross. We shall also be taking nominations from the floor at the meeting.

The current Core Group in consultation with potential new Core Group members felt that it was important to simplify the old Constitution so that a new core team could be put in place with the absolute minimum requirements and maximum flexibility. You can see the proposed changes in one of the articles or at this link.

We are very hopeful that we can get through this crisis and put a new team together, however should this not be possible there will be a vote at the meeting on a motion to wind up the organisation.

Best wishes

Charles Mossman
