On Thursday, 1st July at 6pm, Mid Devon DC is
holding a meeting at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre. It
will be considering a motion that the council support
the CEE bill.
The chairman of the council has decided, if moved and
seconded, that this motion be referred without discussion to the
Environment Policy Development Group (of the council) which I
understand meets in private. So this means there will be no public
debate by our district council on this subject. Details of the
agenda item are here, item 8 on the
agenda.
The meeting at Lords Meadow is however open to members of
the public, who can ask questions in person at the meeting. If you
wish to attend, and maybe ask a question, you need to contact Sally
Gabriel sgabriel@middevon.gov.uk to let her know in advance.
