It is my unfortunate job to pass on the sad news that
Jennie Price, an active supporter of CCA since its beginnings,
passed away last week. I received the following from her husband
Martin which he has asked me to pass on:
'Jennie Price was taken into RDE Hospital on Tuesday morning,
and died peacefully at 3.20pm.She had been suffering from a
condition of the aorta since December 2006, and died due to
internal bleeding following a final rupture. She was in no
pain and suffered no distress. I was with her at the end'
Jennie was a very loyal supporter of CCA and although I had only
known her for a few months found her to be a cheerful, enthusiastic
and optimistic lady who gave us invaluable help with the film
showing at the Energy Day. She will be sadly missed by many of
us.
Jennie's funeral will take place at the Woodland Burial
Site in Wimborne Dorset on Tuesday March 25th at
2pm. All are welcome to attend. We send Martin and.all
her family our sincerest sympathy and support. Martin has asked
that anyone who would like to remember Jennie with a donation in
lieu of flowers can do so by making a donation to the Woodland
