A huge thank you to everyone who came along to CCA's 2nd Birthday party at Sandford Village Hall recently

The Hall was packed and we had a fantastic array of bring and share food and a magni cent birthday cake provided by Stevie B's. There was also a well supported Free Cycle corner. Lots of people brought along items to give away and others went home happily bearing some treasured 'finds'. 

There was a whole evening of excellent and varied entertainment which culminated in great performances by the Swamp Gods and Treehouse with plenty of dancing taking place. Laura Conyngham also composed a new CCA song specially for the event. It was lovely to see people of all ages joining in together and the event had the feel of true community.

Charles Mossman the Vice Chair of the Steering Group gave a short speech pointing out how far CCA had come in the two years since it started and that we now have 300 supporters receiving our email newsletter regularly. He
outlined some of the plans for the future including the strong possibility of developing a community farm. Many thanks go to all the people who helped organise the event and especially to Linda Lever for coordinating the entertainment and Sue Chantrey and her team for organising and manning the excellent bar of locally produced drinks.
