Wouldn't it  be great to find a way of involving the whole community in Crediton, ie businesses, churches, schools as well as individuals, in a concerted effort to reduce our carbon footprint  and move towards a more sustainable community.  We have found a scheme which has been succesful in doing this at universities throughout the UK, and which is now keen to pilot it within a community town such as Crediton.  Exeter University students would help in running the scheme which would focus on helping organisations in the town to become more sustainable for instance by reducing their energy use and giving them advice to make the practical changes needed.

We are exploring whether there would be support for this scheme and identifying the funding needed but would appreciate support from CCA members in setting up and running the scheme.
