The Crediton Parish Church 2012 Christmas Tree Festival, took place from Thursday 6th December - Sunday 9th December. The opening hours were 11am - 6pm (Thur & Fri), 10.30am - 7pm (Sat) and 2 -5pm (Sun). This year 72 decorated and illuminated trees filled the church. There were tours of the church, stalls, an exhibition of photo's taken by members of Crediton Photography Club and refreshments in the nearby Boniface Centre. Admission was free. On the Saturday evening a concert took place in church and began at 7.30pm with a talented cast taking part _ Ad Hoc Singers, David Cottam (classical guitarist), the family Guthrie and carols led by the Ad Hoc singers with plenty of opportunity for audience participation.

For 2012 Sustainable Crediton have taken the theme of sustainable transport for our Xmas tree at the Holy Cross. Santa and some cheeky angels will be riding their way round the tree without using any fossil fuel. See how many modes transport you can spot.

The Plough and Share Credit Union and WEN also displayed trees.
