One of our Core Group members, Georgi Bellingham, has just resigned as she and her family are moving away from Crediton. This leaves a vacancy within the Core Group which we are keen to fill.

The Core Group's role is to create an outline strategy, communicate with and support all the Action Groups, some of whose activities are reported in our newsletter. We also aim to develop non party political links with our MP, Crediton Town Council, Mid Devon District Council, our local councillors and other sustainability organisations in Devon. We hold and manage Sustainable Crediton's funds, make applications for grants, and generally attempt to keep Sus Cred solvent! Another key feature of our work is to publicise as widely as we can what we do and sustainability in general, and to encourage people to become active on such issues.

We meet approximately every six weeks for a couple of hours.
