Sustainable Crediton's post lockdown relaunch and AGM: Saturday, 2nd October

11 September 2021

Following on from our Green Fair in the Square on 25th September, this is a chance to find out more about us, take part in some fun activities and participate in our AGM: it is your opportunity to become more involved in the activities of Sustainable Crediton. We are acutely aware that there is so much more we could be doing, with more active members.

The timetable for the day at the Boniface Centre is as follows.

11.00 - 11.45am: arrive, meet and take part in activities which will include continuing to build our wish tree for a greener Crediton and beyond; likewise adding to 'messages for Mel' (our MP). Both activities started in the Square on 25th. There will also be craft and story-telling activities for children.

11.45am: welcome, and introduction to our guest speaker Andy Gray, of Elston Farm / M.C. Kelly, who will be talking to us about his silvopasture project and  his many interests in sustainable farming.

12.30pm: lunch! A light lunch of soup / bread / cakes, and drinks of course, will be served.

1.30pm: Annual General Meeting. Please stay for this! We promise we will keep it short and sweet. We will be explaining a bit about how Sustainable Crediton is run, and inviting you to become more involved: just a little, or more so, as you wish.

The AGM should be over by around 2.00pm, when there will be up to 30 minutes for more informal chat before we wrap matters up at 2.30pm.
