Our own regular column in the Crediton Courier

We have approached Alan Quick the editor of the Courier about the idea of having a regular column in the Courier giving ideas, making suggestions and exploring issues in relation to climate change, peak oil and becoming a Transition Town. Many people in Crediton read the Courier so it is a great vehicle for raising awareness and encouraging people to take action.

However if it is to work, we need CCA members to take a part in writing a short piece every now and again. If we had a rota of around 10 people, this would only mean a piece every 5 months so it is not too onerous!

The column might be simply a couple of paras about what you have done personally to reduce your carbon footprint. Or it could be something about the work of the group you are involved in.

A number of people have already indicated their willingness to write articles for it. Thankyou.

More budding columnists would however be welcomed - contact me if you would like to find out more of what is involved in writing for the column.
