Sustainable Crediton will present the film 'The Line We Crossed'
at Crediton Arts Centre at 7pm on 12th
November.
This impactful film is a British story of dissent, drawn from
the frontlines of climate resistance. Through the experiences of
those who stood in defiance, it traces the quiet unravelling of our
protest rights. The film challenges audiences to question what
makes dissent effective and where the line of acceptability is.
Following the film there will be discussion led by a panel
including Liz Smith, director of the film, Dr Alex McLaughlin,
lecturer in political theory at Exeter University and
Crediton-based activist Laura Conyngham.
