Imogen's Bee Talk was very interesting, informative and well attended, with every chair taken. She showed us her skeps and other bee equipment and illustrated the talk with pictures of flowers liked by bees, as well as the bees themselves. Also enjoyed were the refreshments with home-made cakes, including a delicious and appropriate honey cake.

Come and hear beekeeper Imogen Hallam talk about these fascinating creatures.

"I've been keeping bees for over four seasons now and the craft and the creatures fascinate me more and more as time goes on. In beekeeping terms I am a relative novice; it seems one needs to be with bees for at least 10 years to be anything of an expert. However, I hope you will come and join us for an evening talk introducing the topic of honey bees and their lifecycle, the plants they love and some of their fascinating ways. I am the Exeter swarm coordinator this year and who knows I may have some interesting anecdotes and tales of swarm catching to tell as the year progresses. The talk is given with pictures and diagrams to help you learn."

Imogen Hallam

The talk will be held in the Meadow Suite of Lords Meadow Leisure Centre. All welcome!
