Devon Hedge Week is an annual event, run by the Devon Hedge Group, in association with Devon Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG). Its purpose is to raise awareness and appreciation of Devon's magnificent network of hedges. It takes the form of a week of hedge-related events and activities for all the family.

Each year the Hedge Week has a different focus. This year's theme is "Hedges for the Future":

• Hedges for fuel, can hedges form part of our renewable energy supply?
• How to adapt to climate change, what possible benefits will hedges provide in a changing climate & which species will be suitable as temperature rise?
