We planted an amelianchier lamarckii at Crediton library on Monday 22nd April when it was in bud and now, Friday, it is in full bloom.  This attractive tree has white flowers in the spring, colourful autumn foliage and black berries which birds like. 

Next time you are in Crediton Library take a look out of one of the back windows, or look at the tree from Newcombes Meadow.
