Eddie Kay writes "A grand day
out coppicing at Moor Farm. Dull and overcast, no wind, 10 Dec C
and midges active. Soon stripped layers to T-shirt, dripping sweat
and was absorbed into the zone of "the doing of it". The steepness
of the bank is not captured in the photos and the ups and downs,
pitted with abandoned badger diggings took their toll. I think I
will sleep well tonight. That people were singing at clearing up
time, says much."
