The Sub-Committee held a positive first meeting on 24th September. Several councillors and about a dozen members of the public attended, including three Sustainable Crediton members. A strategy will be put together by the next meeting for action to be taken on helping Crediton become carbon neutral by 2030. A proposal was put forward for a large public engagement event in February.  More committee members are to be sought to represent and act for other areas of the town such as schools, business, churches, transport and agriculture.
