Did you know changing your font can have a real impact on how much printer ink you use?

If you print a lot of text pages, changing your font can have a real impact on the number of prints you get from a set of ink cartridges. Swap Arial for Calibri or Times New Roman and your cartridges will go further.

In an independent test by WHICH? seven popular fonts were compared to see which used the least and most ink to print a letter.

Times New Roman went the furthest, producing 27% more pages than Arial. The top three most efficent fonts - Calibri , Century Gothic and Times New Roman - produced between 40% and 65% more pages than Verdana, the most wasteful font in the test.
