A Waste Sculpture for Crediton?

Calling all budding artists or sculptors out there, whatever your age or background.

Sustainable Crediton's Waste Action Group are planning to create a Waste Sculpture in the Town Square during one of the Community Markets in either June or July. This is to co-incide with the 2013 Crediton Festival.

We aim to demonstrate just how many ways 'waste' can be used as well as creating a talking point, having some fun, publicising Sustainable Crediton's work and also bringing to the fore wider waste related issues.

To make this idea a reality we really need the help of some creative types with this project.

Carolyn Scott, a member of the Waste Action Group and an artist herself, has agreed to co-ordinate ideas and organise a working group. If you could spare some time we would really appreciate your help.

To get involved or find out more please contact Carolyn and  leave your contact details, preferably including a landline number if you have one, and she will get back to you.

Have fun with waste!
