The Waste Group are hoping to create a stunning waste sculpture out of waste plastic at the Community Market on Sat 8th June as part of the Crediton Festival.

This is a novel and exciting idea that will be co-ordinated by Waste Group member Carolyn Scott. The theme of the sculpture will be 'A Summer Garden' and we would like your help with collecting the raw materials that will be needed.

Any clear, one or two litre size plastic drinks bottles and plastic bags of any colour are needed before the event, so please start collecting now and either bring to our next plastic collection on Saturday 4 May from 10am to 1230pm at Peck & Strong's car park (Lord's Meadow) or contact Carolyn Scott.
