2)Appointment of note taker/group facilitator

Esther to take on group facilitator/note taker role. Anne to carry on organising the plastic recycling events. Paula thanked Esther for taking this on and the group thanked Paula for her good work over the past seven years.

Action- Charles to change on Sustainable Crediton website.

3)Overview of MRF visit and outcomes

Information about the visit is now on the sustainable Crediton website. We all enjoyed the visit and learnt a lot. Discussed differences between Exeter's recycling and MDDC.

Action-Paula to write an article about these differences and to approach Stella about using this as part of a recycling tip of the month.

Action-Charles to contact John Downes as to whether the decision to change the recycling process in MDDC in October has  actually been taken.

Action-Esther to keep in touch with Matt Hulland (MRF) about attending future WAG plastic recycling events.

4) Arrangements for Plastic Recycling Day on 27/09/14

Esther to bring hi viz jackets and to collect gazebo from Ashtons and bring on the day and to top up venues with leaflets(including Morrisons) Jill to remind PWS and to top up venues with leaflets. Anne to send Esther email addresses of volunteers and Esther to contact them 10 days in advance. Charles to remind Peck and Strong on 19/09. Paula to make sign for Peck and Srrong wall and she will attend the event if needed, also to put ad in Courier.

Esther to liaise with Paula. Anne to organise Sandford collection.

5)Popup Shop/Refurnish Project

Info from David Banks of Refurnish-The project is still happening with the lease still being negotiated etc.Hopes to be up and running by end of October. Bonheur is still available. Decision taken to go with Refurnish as £250 per week for Bonheur was felt to be too expensive.Need to know exact date of opening.

 Action-Charles to contact David Banks to see if Refurnish want WAG to be at the shop for the first 2 weeks of opening and to arrange a meeting asap, hopefully in Crediton, but at David's convenience. 

6)AOB 

Anne stated that there are now template on the Sustainable Crediton website for all to use for advertising events.

7) Date of next meeting

Monday 13th October at Jills, providing that her building works are completed. There may also be a need for another meeting depending on the outcome of meeting with Refurnish.

Anyone interested in Reducing, Reusing or Recycling is welcome to come and join our small friendy group and see what we are planning. All ideas welcome!
