Anne and Esther had met with Anne Varker from the Methodist Church about a give and take event and repair cafe. Still waiting to hear back about this.

No reply from Felicity Jones, Esther to follow up.

3) New Project for 2017 - Food Waste

Hold a lunch time meal - sharing, cooking and eating food that might have been wasted. Sharing skills, focus on keeping food out of the bin.

Keep it simple, perhaps a smoothie, soup and a pudding (bread and butter?) Could ask for food donations from people attending. Keep advertsing cheap. Have a RSVP system? Info, games etc on how to avoid waste would be provided by CAG. Have music at the event? Include 'fun, family, food, free' in the name of the event. Ideas-: 'Why Chuck It', 'Reduce your food bill', 'Grubs up'

Carolyn and Esther had attended 'Love Food, Hate Waste' event.

Action: Esther to ask Morrisons, Tescos, Co-op if they would like to donate waste food.

Action: Esther to ask food group if they want to be involved and when would be best for them.

Action: Esther to ask Boniface Centre about availability on Saturdays in either May or September.
