Also, Soupstock not happening this year.

3) Give and Take

Feedback: Ann Varker had sent feedback. Methodist Church very pleased with the event. 500 people attended and the cafe made £240 for Church funds. MC hope to do it again in October half term week, possibly with a repair cafe. Did seem at times that there were too many volunteers. Also, advertsing could have been better. Decision made for group to support MC again in October and also with their repair cafe if this goes ahead. It was good that WAG's network of volunteers helped.

Decision taken that we would not rule out doing another give and take on the High Street, perhaps next year.

Action: Esther to contact Ann Varker

4) Food Festival Recycling, 17th and 18th June

Action: Esther and Bob to be there at 10 on Sat to set up with Jill's help. Get ' A' frame from Ashtons and use for signage, bring banner, leaflets, high vis vests.
Action: Jill to bring bucket and w up liquid.
Action: All to give out greenpeace leaflets re coca cola and to engage with public re recycling.
Action: Polly to help when she can.

5) Foodshare event - 30th Sept

Esther and Carolyn had been to the 'Grubs Up ' meal at Tiverton and had learnt valuable lessons for our event.

The meal was quite elaborate, there were good cooks, they used left over food from supermarkets, & fruit and veg stalls. Attendance at the meal was by invitation. (In future they want to target more needy people).

Action: To do planning at next meeting. Esther to invite Ruth to this meeting

Action: Esther to research local WI, may be able to help

Action: Esther to contact Ann Stobart and foodgroup for help with event
