This will be a short email reminder of the events happening over the next couple of weeks.

Mid Devon District Council (MDDC) is reviewing the Local Plan for development in Mid Devon over the next 15-20 years, including the Core Strategy, the Allocations and Infrastructure Development Plan Document and development management policies. That all sounds rather heavy, however MDDC are holding two exhibitions locally where you can see the Plan and speak to a council representative to find out how the plan may impact your local community. The exhibition will be held as follows:-

Saturday 15th February 10am to 1pm The Council Chamber, Market Street, Crediton

Wednesday 19th February 10am to 1pm Lapford Village Hall

These are ideal opportunities for you to voice your opinions about the future of Mid Devon. Full details of how you can submit your comments will be available at the exhibitions or by following this link.

Crediton's annual Seed Share will be taking place on Saturday 22nd February from 11am to 2pm at the Old Town Hall in Crediton. This year is better than ever.  Want to start growing veg or wild flowers? Spare saved seeds to share? Want interesting new seeds for your veg/flower garden? Interested in natural bee keeping or fuel from hedgerows? Or just want a tasty lunch! Then come to our seed share for some free seeds or to swap your own. Lots of stalls and information. Free to enter but donations very welcome. See you there!

Finally, a chance to get some fresh air and exercise on Sunday 23rd February when there will be a family cycle ride from the Town Square to the New Inn, Coleford starting at 11am.
