Following the recent initial scoping meeting of the working group, I am trying to arrange another meeting to include as many interested people/organisations as possible.

Scout Memorial Gardens, Peoples Park As most of you know, the Town Council is looking at ways of developing a project to restore the Scout Memorial Gardens at Peoples Park in preparation for the centenary of the Crediton Scouts next year. The project could be expanded to include improvements to the park generally - replanting trees etc. The project will involve making funding applications to the Lottery and other potential funders. This usually means that a community group will need to be set up to administer and control the process.

Floral Displays for 2009 Celebrations The Town Council would like a community based group to help manage the town's floral displays. It will be particularly important for us to ensure a "good show" next year - for the 2009 Festival.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Could you let me know whether you or a member of your organisation would be interested in taking an active part by becoming a member of the working group?
