Plastic Collection 31/01/15-

Action- Esther to email volunteers 2 weeks before event

Action- Esther and Jill to deliver leaflets to all venues asap

Action- Jill to contact PWS with 2015 dates

Action- Esther to remind Peck and Strong before event

Action- Charles to be there at 8 am and to put notice up on Friday afternoon

Decided to run the Nov collection as the Council might not have got their collection up and running.

Pop Up Shop-

Publicity- Action-Leaflets/Posters-Paula to do schools, Jill to do High Street, Art Centre,Sandford PO and Lamb,Charles to do leisure  centre and to attend next Farmers Market with Jill,Carolyn to do Bow, Copplestone and

Okehampton.Esther to do rest of venues.

Action- Person to open shop- Esther to contact Mayor's sec again and ask if his wife could open the shop if he cannot.Paula to ask Nigel Guthrie. Could also ask John Skrine if necessary.Now superseded, the Mayor can open the shop!

Action- Paula to ask the press to come along to the opening (E and E, WMN, Courier).

Paula has sent articles to various local mags.Ad is in sc newsletter

Action-Jill to send Paula list of parish mags

Action- Paula to send ads to Courier and press release as per agreed dates.Charles to supply photos from clothes swap.Charles and Paula to put ad on Facebook.Action-Charles to recheck electrical goods with Refurnish.

Agreed that we cannot accept certain items and this must be in the ad and press release.Also agreed to keep in 'limited to 5 items'.Esther to let Paula know asap who will open the shop.

Action-Carolyn to get banner done by vistaprint

Volunteers-Action-Charles to send doodle poll and covering letter to all volunteers on list.All to send him emails of all personal contacts prepared to help to Charles. Esther to collate final rota.If people offer to help who do not have email, then Esther to add names to doodle poll.

ActIon-Charles to organise the rota for sc groups who want to promote their grouos and Jill to organise Credit Union. Charles to do a sc mass email at end of Jan to ask for volunteers.

Equipment-Have 3 tables so far.Action-Esther to ask if Townhall would lend tables and chairs.Carolyn and Esther to supply picnic tables

Action-Esther and Paula to meet at Gees on 7th Jan 10.30 to check fittings etc and to measure up for banner.

Action- Paula to bring mirror.Carolyn to supply mugs, tea,coffee,buy a kettle. Esther to get sc donation boxes from Dee.

Use sc 'A' board for 'Deal of the Day'.Have a Countdown to Opening board outside or in the window.Use Xmas tree decorations in the shop. Esther to bring white board

Action- Carolyn to put together a kit of scissors, sellotape, batteries etc.

Action-Paula to get board for customers to advertise large items.All to collect carrier bags, boxes etc.

Education-Charles to put together display of plastic recycling events,box of recycled goods and bin doctor info

Exit Strategy-Action- Charles to confirm with Refurnish that they will take all left over goods and confirm electrical strategy.

Action-Carolyn will talk to charity shops in advance of the event.

Other- Action-Charles to display public liability insurance in shop and to put together a risk assessment and to send to all to confirm. Also agreed that we can accept goods in advance in shop from 02/02 to  06/02
