Arrangements for Give and Take Shed in October:

Arrangements with Refurnish -  Esther to liaise with Kate about paying for the electric,sorting goods,training volunteers for her shop, seeing the shed with shelving w/c 12/10

Volunteer rota - Paula had put together a draft rota and the group filled in the sessions they could do. 

Action - P aula to contact all volunteers to ask them what they could do 

Publicity - the group designed a leaflet which would be used as a basis for the ads and editorial in the Courier. 

Action - Sarah and Carolyn to get leaflet together. Sarah to deliver them to Esther asap for her to get out w/c 21/09. A5= 500, A4  posters = 10. Also decided to have a voucher to give to customers when they have had 5 items from us and then want to go into Refurnish shop.

Action - Paula to put ads in Courier 2nd, 9th,16th October and to write editorial for 9th. Send editorial to Kate at Refurnish. Also send ads to schools, parish mags etc at the beginning of October.

Equipment needed:

Clothes rails - Esther to ask Jill to contact the Arts Centre to hire these.

Tables  - Refurnish will supply tables, but all the group to bring any that we have as well.

Bookshelves - Esther to ask the Greenshop and to see if Refurnish can provide any.

Storage/Display boxes - Paula to provide plastic boxes and all to keep any boxes they may get between now and October. 

Gazebo, A frame, table - Anne to get from Ashtons

Donation Boxes - Esther to get these from Dee Ross

Cash - Anne to provide petty cash for buying tea, coffee etc for volunteers

Discussion of how to measure success - count the number of vouchers we have issued and also to count people using clicker

Sarah discussed the purpose of the core group of Sustainable Crediton with the group
