The grey skies on the day of our WEN Tarka Trail Walk didn't bode well for a good turnout and it was just the three of us who caught the train to Eggesford and went walking over fields, under the railway line, over the river (and not quite as buggy friendly as I had promised!) We had a picnic in the woods and then back to the Garden Centre for ice-creams and sunflower seeds!
