Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 33

Photograph of Crediton Market Square

Hello Everyone,

Somebody asked me the other day how could they get involved doing things with Sustainable Crediton? Whilst it might be pretty daunting to come along to the AGM or an Action Group meeting if you know no-one, there are all sorts of things in this month's newsletter where you could make a start. The Hearts & Mind group have a coffee morning coming up and are looking to start a meditation group. Or how about helping make a flag for the Crediton Festival? The Food Group are looking for a veg growing co-ordinator. The Waste Group are looking for plastic for their waste sculpture and have a consultation that anyone who is concerned about the mountains of plastic going to landfill can complete. You could contact the Tree Group about planting a disease resistant elm tree or take part in the bee campaign. Or you could take part in the Energy Group's Solar PV Project or Warm Homes project which has been extended three months!

The Waste, Food and Energy Groups all have meetings this month, and I promise you that you will get a warm welcome if you did want to come along. Just contact the relevant group co-ordinator, details are on the website.

Charles Mossman
