Welcome to November's Sustainable Crediton newsletter.

Crediton Climate Challenge

Our headline item this month is our Crediton Climate Challenge event on Saturday November 28th from 10am to 12 noon in the Town Square. If you want to make a difference to the whole climate debate about to happen in Paris from the end of the month NOW IS YOUR CHANCE. Be part of this worldwide push to make every Government sit up and listen to the views of ordinary people. Please be with us on the 28th, have fun and make your voice count! There will be music, performance poetry, stalls, speeches and a giant people filled heart shape photo will be created at noon. We are still looking for volunteers to help us organise the event both prior to and on the day.

Crediton Pig Club Inaugural Meeting

There has been a lot of interest in the Pig Club and this will be the first meeting to determine how the Club will actually operate during 2016. If you wish to attend on the 16th November at 7pm at the Crediton Coffee Company, please contact Anne Stobart via the meeting's webpage.

Give and Take Shop

The Waste Action Group members would like to say a huge thank you to the 19 volunteers who helped out in the shop without whom we could not have put on the event over 6 days. Also thanks to ReFurnish for letting us use the old wood stripping premises free of charge.
