Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 153 March 2024

Welcome to our March newsletter.

Two new news items stand out this month. On 23rd March there is to be a community conversation in Crediton about the creation and testing of a land use framework: how are we to square the often competing claims of agriculture, housing, industry, conservation and much else besides on this island, and specifically around Crediton?

As the cost and impact of car ownership becomes an increasingly hot topic, our news item on a possible car sharing scheme looks to provide a possible answer for some.

Scroll down too for a review and pictures from our well supported and enjoyable Seed Share event on 24 February.

And tree people: see diary entry for 14 March: last tree session of the winter. Somewhat delayed by the soggy weather.

Best wishes, John Craythorne and Lesley Thomas, joint newsletter editors
