Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 58

This is an invitation for you to join us at The Lamb, Sandford from 7pm on the 13th May. It is the occasion of our annual AGM at 7:45pm, but we want it to be much more than that. The Woodmen band will be playing after the AGM and we will be providing a few snacks, so let's party and sing and dance along to the music. It will be a chance to catch up on what we have been doing and for you to suggest new ideas for the future, all in a very social setting of the pub's cinema. Drinks will be available at the bar, but not, sadly, on either Sustainable Crediton or the house. Please RSVP to Charles Mossman whether you are coming by the 8th May or you can respond on the Sustainable Crediton facebook page.

The day before on the 12th May at 7:30pm, there will be another chance to socialise at Wetherspoons. The Food Group are seeking new people to join them with loads of enthusiasm to help us get new projects going.  We would love to hear any new ideas that you can bring to this passionate group. We also need practical help, so any offers will be gratefully received. Please come along on May 12th and look out for the Sustainable Crediton sign and cheery people beside it!

The Food Group have put some new recipe ideas on the recipes folder on the website.  We would also be happy to receive seasonal recipe ideas from anyone, to enhance our recipe offerings - please email Christine Marshall. There are three recipes in the Newsletter to give you a flavour of the dozens in the recipe pages.

On Saturday, the 30th May we have our third waste plastic collection of the year at Peck & Strong, Lords Meadow from 10am to 12:30pm.
